Breaking on the currents of wind sliding by.
Between us the night air slides.
The moon swings, arms stretched out, feet in the air
The earth swings her son, gently, no fear.
We watch the world move.
Stars flicker, my lips quiver, the difference of light is dark
The moonlight floods the runaway glitter, the moon blacks out the distant sparks.
We stare into the dark.
The passing clouds lift me into forever, where the last lights live
Up through the darkness of distant spaces, covering the space the moon bulb graces.
So we can see every light.
The explosion of light melted onto the night,
A blanket of stars sewn with thread made of flashes.
We can see every light.
But with the moon man behind the curtain,
We fall into the blackness of the earth's night.
We fly around our minds.
The wind pulls our difference together.
And the faint moonlight shines in your eyes again.
We are here and the distant lights fade.
