New Project

So,

Tonight I was introduced to Max Esposito's site : Esposito's Originals. Here Max has multiple personal projects he has done. One very touching video featured in his Multimedia section, called "Homeless not Helpless" is about the Bergon County Health and Human Services homeless shelter.  Besides the fact that Max produced a great piece, the idea behind the shelter caught my attention.  Not only is this something that I have always felt strongly about, but something that I have considered writing about many times. After watching this video, I had a new idea: to interview the people that organize these projects that get little recognition but make a huge difference in the lives of American citizens every day.

Julia Orlando is the Director of the Bergon County Health and Human Services Center. I hope that I can get in touch with her or an associate of hers to learn more about this program and others like it that actually help the homeless population to find jobs, educate themselves and help them to get back on their own two feet. If possible, I look forward to making this the first of many interviews on those who are making great strides in bringing peace to the world.

Please take a look through Max Esposito's site. His work is fabulous and his topics are inspiring. Nothing to lose. :)
